Our 12-week PINC certification course provides a research-based comprehensive foundation of knowledge of the entire cancer process from diagnosis to treatment, recovery, prevention of treatment-related side effects, contraindications, and ongoing survivorship issues. Designed for today's busy healthcare professionals, courses use the latest online lectures and webinar technology.
The course curriculum is divided into four modules of three weeks each, and comprising of eight units of learning per module. There is a mixture of “recorded” lecture-style presentations, interviews with oncology medical experts, case study presentations, and “live” interactive webinars.

Selection criteria:
We require all participants to have completed a Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy degree and have at least 5 years of clinical experience. Consideration is given to each application to the PINC certification course by the PINC & STEEL selection committee and suitable applicants will be notified by email of their selection into the course. This is done to ensure we have:
Suitably experienced physiotherapists / occupational therapists
A geographical spread of certified therapists to support people with all types of cancer
Adequate facilities available to cater to all aspects of the PINC Program
A commitment from your practice to serving people affected by cancer and their families in your community
